Becoming Butch chronicles the life of Vincent James Arcuri, from his childhood in the rough and rugged world of Queens, New York to his move to West Hollywood, California living amongst the queens. Along the way, he discovered his own beat, found his own voice (after months of speech lessons to "eliminate the flame while still keeping the spark") and redefined what it truly means to become butch.

Becoming Butch made its theatrical debut in Los Angeles in March of 2009 at the famed ACME Comedy Theatre. After a critically acclaimed, successful sold out run, Becoming Butch returned to the LA theatre scene in May of 2010 for a limited engagement at the renowned Celebration Theatre in West Hollywood. Once again, the response was overwhelming and opened the door for Vincent to perform Becoming Butch aboard the Celebrity Equinox cruise ship for Atlantis Events’ 2010 Mediterranean cruises.
